Download and Install Formulate2

If you have not already done so, download and install Formulate2. Once the software is installed, read the information below and follow the instructions you find there.

Licensed Academic Use

If you are not representing an academic institution and are not a registered student, please click here to purchase a licensed Formulate2 subscription.

Registered Students: If you are a registered student interested in licensing Formulate2 before graduating or completing post graduate work, please contact Donna Foster at dlfoster@formulate2.com for details of our current student licensing program. This program is designed to allow substantial discounts on the first year subscription to currently registered students.

In addition, a no cost academic subscription is available to registered students for the duration of their enrollment in college level classes related to dairy nutrition or if attending institutions specializing in training related to the dairy industry. Academic Institution Subscription Fee: All initial installations of the program are access limited by days of access and number of program starts to provide a free 60 day evaluation subscription. During or after the evaluation subscription period you may purchase an Academic Institution Subscription which entitles the licensed institution to both full, unlimited access to the software and user support for an unlimited period and includes free maintenance updates and free upgrades to new versions of Formulate2. The program may be installed on any computer(s) used to instruct students or perform diet formulation for the institution's dairy herd.

The price of the Academic Institution Subscription is $399.00 USD.

User Support and Training: The primary method of support is email correspondence but scheduled-time telephone and online internet conferencing via GoToMeeting internet conferencing tools are both employed to serve user's needs.

Registration & Payment

As part of the subscription transaction you will need to register your installation of Formulate2. The registration process requires that you fill out a registration form available within the software when it is running. Once completed, the contents of the registration form and the necessary installation identification information are saved as a file to your Windows desktop. Formulate2 will guide you through this process.

The registration file is then attached to an email addressed to cvnasoft@formulate2.com and emailed to Central Valley Nutritional Associates, LLC. When your registration file and payment are received, an Access Key will be configured and delivered to you via email. The email will contain instructions about how to use the Access Key to configure access to your installation of the program.

Specific instructions about registering Formulate2 are contained in the Formulate2 Help System. To view the instructions with Formulate2 running, press F1 to display the Help System then navigate to the topic entitled, "Registering Formulate2". Configuring Formulate2 with the Access Key will provide you with unrestricted access to the software for the licensed period.

Making Payment

Payment for your subscription is made through PayPal, a trusted on line business partner and long time provider of secured on line financial transactions. If you do not have a PayPal account, payment may also be made through PayPal with Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover Card, or a Bank Account.
