Dairy Ration Software and Custom Reports

If you've ever used wished you could create report output your way or create a report that didn't exist in what was available to you, your wish has just come true.

The Formulate2 dairy ration software package that allows you to do just that. Create reports on your ration formulations that highlight the data that you find most useful.

The Report Formatter provides you with the capability to create custom reports that allow you to design layout and content the way you'd like to see it. All of the reports in the standard report set were created with the Report Formatter so you have your choice. You can edit the existing reports, create reports from scratch and have it totally your way or mix and match. Dairy ration software that offers such a toolset enhances your ability to easily address areas of ration formulation that require special attention.

To access the Report Formatter from either the feed or ration record forms, open the Other menu and select and click on the Report Formatter menu option.

The Report Formatter allows you to create a report layout and populate it with data you choose from the available data sources. The creation of data sources is an integral function of simply using the ration software - it is completely invisible, you don't have to be concerned with it.

Once you selected a data source, you can also name the data field and use the field's name in equations scripts you create in a target field that will hold a calculated result.
